Seán William McLoughlin, an Irish YouTuber is better known as Jacksepticeye and is famous for his comedic Let’s Play series and his YouTube Vlogs. He has over 28.1 Million subscribers on his YouTube Channel and it is one of the most subscribed YouTube channels. He created his YouTube Channel on 24 Feb 2007, but initially, he was not active and started uploading videos in 2012. He named the channel “Jacksepticeye” and started uploading gameplay videos.

His mother used to call him Jack, as it is a very popular nickname for Sean in the country. One of his childhood friends came to know about his nickname and started calling him Jack for fun. One day Jack was playing soccer and got hit in his eyes and it started bleeding because he got hit really hard after a few days his eyes got infected and his friend started making fun and called him “Jack Septic Eye” and that is how he got the name of his YouTube Channel.

He started getting success in the year 2014 when his channel “Jacksepticeye” had around 800,000 subscribers and got over 57 million views. At the beginning of 2015, his YouTube Channel got over 3.2 million subscribers with over one billion views.

The YouTube Red show Scare PewDiePie, which was supposed to premiere on March 9, 2017, got canceled, McLoughlin was part of that second season. The season got canceled because of the controversy which was going around the YouTuber PewDiePie.

They raised $1.3 million, in Revelmode charity holiday Livestream #Cringemas, which he was a part of with Markiplier, Emma Blackery, PewDiePie, and PJ Liguori in 2016, under the hashtag #EndAIDS. He has hosted many other charity Livestreams for good causes.
